The Storm Walker

The Dracomancer is a powerful evolution of the Raider, only the best will have the skills needed to ascend above all others.

These strong warriors carry the legacy of the Dragons of the Past at the tip of its spear, fighting in a furious way while changing their stance to focus on each strength.

Greatest changes from Raider: More offensive oriented, tools to negate any kind of enemy, extremely versatile

New Mechanics

The main defining features of the Dracomancer are:

The use of both systems is essential for a Dracomancer to fight enemies with efficiency and cover different needs of an eventual party.

  • Allows usage of Dragon Orbs.
  • Access to Dragon Pact and Dragon Force stances.

Dragon Orbs

There are 3 types of Orbs:

The Different Orbs can be seen on the Draco Orbs Page. They also consume the entire HP/SP when equipped. Dragon Orbs also provide unique colors for Dracomancers.

  • Claw Orbs That boost the offensive powers.
  • Wing Orbs that boost the defensive powers.
  • Scale Orbs that allow the Dracomancer to transform into a specific Dragon for a duration.

Stances

To use specific offensive skills, a Dracomancer needs to change its stances.

Dragon Pact (Small dragon symbols spin around the player) will allow the use of Dragon Claw and Dragon Breath, providing a well defined combo with a reliable engagement potential.

Dragon Force (small spear tip symbols spin around the player) will allow the use of Crescent Dive and Geirskogul, skills focused on raw damage potential and high offensive power.

A strong Dracomancer will find ways to change between stances as needed and using its large arsenal of defensive skills to fight any enemy.

Job Quest

The Job quest to become a Dracomancer is much more complex than most jobs. It's not recommended for inexperienced Raiders to attempt on their own.

A more experienced Dracomancer can supply a Raider with the tools needed.

The Quest requires a Dracomancer to push their limits and watch their surroundings. A card will be required from a dragon that does not spawn naturally. The drop rate is higher than normal and the card is key for those facing the quest.

The Job Changer for the Raider can provide important tips on how to complete this quest.
